Once for lunch and then back again for dinner. Both trips, good enough to give a five star review.
A good variety of choices from meats, to seafood, to their signature rotisserie chicken. I chose the salmon on a bed of rice. I also tried the chicken rice soup.
The chicken rice soup was outstanding.
The salmon was cooked to perfection, the bed of rice of was splendid mouthful.
As an add on we had the clams appetizer... very good.
Are overall experience was very very good. From our server, to the dining experience, Doolittles does it all. -

I'm tempted to give Doolittles 4 stars, because the service was great the two times we were there, and nothing was bad. But in my opinion, most of their food is unexciting and kind of meh. Granted, I'm not a big fan of big slabs of wood-fired meat, so I imagine I'm not the target audience. If you're someone who likes pretty standard American food and grilled stuff, give Doolittles a try. Or take your father-in-law or your Aunt Ginny, since they don't like all that funny spicy stuff.
What we ordered for lunch, from good to meh:
1) Seafood stew. By far, this was the best thing we ordered. Nicely cooked shrimp and salmon, and mild but flavorful curry.
2) Carrot cake. Above average and very nicely plated, with delicious fried carrot shavings on top and a gooey caramel sauce.
3) Chicken cranberry salad. This is what I ordered, and it was just okay. The blue cheese and the poppy seed dressing were pretty good. The rotisserie chicken was disappointingly dry.
4) Split roasted chicken, 1/4 sized. Adequate. The Cole slaw had a surprising little kick, so tell Aunt Ginny not to order this.
5) Molten chocolate cake. Also adequate, but kinda dry.
6) Pulled BBQ pork sandwich. This sounded really good on the menu, but the meat was dry, and the only spice I could taste was cumin.
7) Avocado crostini. This probably just was not to my taste. It came with lots of bitter arugula, and the bread was way too crunchy. -

Found this place on Yelp! Seems like a happening place when I arrived. I was seated by a pleasant young man quickly. My server came to the table almost immediately. Sam was my server and she was great. I started with an Old Fashion and she brought me some wonderful bread. I ordered the Ribeye and it was terrific. The bacon scallion mashed potatoes were not so great. Tasted more like instant mashed potatoes. The fact that they were disappointing is the only reason I did not rate it 5 stars

Love this place! They roast their own meats and truly care about quality. The wait staff is kind and attentive, its a great place to being a group of friends for drinks and good food. My go to order is the SW BBQ chicken salad. I don't always order salads when I go out, but this one is so good I can't pass it up. They do take reservations so thats another plus! Check this old reliable place out yourselves. Its worth it.

I ordered a medium bacon cheese burger. It was big and cooked perfectly. They also serve ice cold beer and great fries.
